NSW: Seven teenagers charged after western Sydney shooting
SYDNEY, April 29 AAP - Police have charged seven teenagers involved in a gang fight in
which a 17-year-old youth was shot overnight in Sydney's south-west.
The teenager, from suburban Miller, was rushed to Liverpool Hospital after being shot once
in the chest in Ellis Street, Miller, about 8pm, a police spokeswoman said.
He was in a critical but stable condition.
Police have charged four 18-year-old men from Bonnyrigg, Sadlier, Mt Pritchard and Green
Valley, and three 17-year-old youths from Heckenberg, Fairfield and Miller with affray.
No one had yet been charged over the shooting but inquiries were continuing, the
spokeswoman said.
The four 18-year-olds would face Liverpool Local Court on May 19, two 17-year-olds would
appear in Campbelltown Children's Court on May 18 and the third 17-year-old would face
Lidcombe Children's Court today.
All seven were granted bail.
